Hello all!
It's that time again, a time where the season comes to a close and the community resets and prepares for a new adventure in a new SMP+ season, but with Extraction and other games now on the server, this reset is a bit bigger than most so we need to break things down.
SMP+
SMP+ Season 5 will end on January 30th, 2025 at MIDNIGHT EST. This lets us hold the regular SMP+ world tour in early February as part of the 2025 Legundo subathon, and lets the team focus on dev work while also actively moderating the streams during this busy time.
As usual, we will be running (several, with the subathon) small short-run servers to bridge the gap between seasons 5 and 6.
Extraction
Extraction's first Open Beta season will be ending on January 12th, 2025 at MIDNIGHT EST - and will return in early February with Season 2. Moving between seasons Extraction will be getting massive overhauls to it's hideouts, backend item systems, NPC progression paths, leveling, and a full new player onboarding system.
This is a pretty big effort that I need to complete BEFORE the subathon, which is why the game is going offline first. I'm personally hoping to have Extraction back online early into the Subathon, but maybe we'll run a Subathon-only season on the S1 architecture just to spice things up if I can't get a proper Season 2 all done before then. If that's the case, well then expect some Extraction coding on stream!
SMP Classic
SMP Classic will be online until likely the Spring content drop at the earliest. We don't have any insights into Mojang's new schedule cadence, so we can't speak to this more exactly, but we'll figure it out.
Blowout
Blowout's not going anywhere - feel free to explode your heart's content during the downtime!

That's not all the dates we have on the calendar, but that's all we can talk about now. If you were watching the State of the Gundo livestream you know that we've got a lot coming, and I can't waiut to show you all of it. We're really building something awesome here.
Thank you all for an amazing 2024!! The server has grown from only an SMP to a true network powerhouse of different games and different spaces for our community, and I'm so excited to see where things go next!
